Putting the fun in fundraiser

St. Thatguy’s huge fundraiser was yesterday. As I am currently nursing another headcold, one of my jobs was to sit quietly and add up totals.

We netted about five thousand dollars for our food programs.

The catering service at the event boxed up the extra food and left it out for us to take home. I snagged a carton of the steak and shitake grilled skewers, because meat is expensive and, well, beans are a good protein but 1) don’t have as much iron as meat and 2) get real boring, real fast.
